Biography

Physician Profile:

Ma Meisheng began aesthetic surgery work in the 1970s, focusing on the field of fat cells. He conducted comprehensive research on fat cell issues from multiple aspects, including extraction, grafting, separation, purification, and survival. He was not limited to book-level theoretical research but placed greater emphasis on the practical significance of clinical operations. He proposed many advanced and bold theoretical viewpoints, all of which were constrained by the low level of traditional techniques at the time. In the early 1990s, he was appointed by Beijing Keyizhen Yanshan Medical Technology Co., Ltd. as a Senior Engineer of Clinical Research in the R&D Department. He developed, participated in, improved, and designed China's first-generation professional liposuction machine, which was launched on the market in 1993 and sold well nationwide, bringing about a transformation in liposuction surgical techniques within the medical aesthetics industry.

Professor Ma Meisheng continuously and promptly fed back clinical problems he encountered to the company, and the company improved its research according to his theoretical viewpoints, leading to continuous updates and iterations. This has resulted in Professor Ma Meisheng's surgical quality always being superior. The main technical difficulty in fat grafting lies in the survival rate of fat cells. Professor Ma Meisheng jointly developed with the company a new professional fat grafting device, the Kyz-2 medical centrifuge, integrating liposuction, fat purification, and uniform injection. Fluid injection, liposuction, purification, and grafting are completed with a single integrated machine. Throughout the surgical process, fat cells are completely sealed in a container, avoiding the cross-contamination caused by frequent container changes and air exposure during traditional fat grafting. This ensures safe and rapid extraction of fat cells; after separation and purification, precise injection control can be performed, improving fat survival rate. It makes autologous fat grafting surgery safer, more effective, and simpler. This is a major breakthrough in the field of fat grafting and has driven a transformation in fat grafting procedures within the industry.

Professor Ma Meisheng has also provided a great deal of theoretical foundation for China's medical aesthetics market in terms of improving surgical instruments. Traditional liposuction needles come in single-hole, multi-hole, and various shapes; although they are aesthetically refined, they are not very practical during facial liposuction procedures. Drawing on years of liposuction experience, Professor Ma Meisheng customized a set of liposuction cannulas specifically for facial fat surgery. Through minimally invasive liposuction, the “LIPO Firming Facial Slimming Technique” can eliminate excess facial fat, solving problems that many experts cannot solve, such as excess fat in the nasolabial folds, chin, and behind the ears.

Professor Ma Meisheng has quietly devoted more than 30 years to research in the field of autologous fat. No matter how high his position or how far he has gone, he has never forgotten to closely integrate basic clinical data with the production of instruments and equipment, avoiding situations such as working behind closed doors or building castles in the air. With an open and sharing attitude, he provides new technical reference standards for the medical aesthetics industry.
